Would you like to volunteer for the Slim Nash campaign? I would sincerely appreciate an extra hand or two. We are always in need of volunteers to put out yard signs (only when requested by residents), make phone calls, and wave signs on election day for a few hours. If you or someone you know would like to help out, please have them contact me at 270-392-0776 or email@example.com.
The Bowling Green Board of Commissioners rightly voted to delay a rezoning ordinance. As a City Commissioner, I led the charge and voted to delay rezoning a 1.5 acre tract of land on Old Morgantown Road from multifamily residential to general business for development of a grocery store. I believe this is the right choice for Bowling Green at the moment. Ideally, I believe we can find a compromise that protects the residents who have chosen remain or move-in to the Old Morgantown Road area while fostering a business-friendly environment.
If the Commission decides to move ahead with the rezoning at the next commissioner’s meeting, I will work to devise a course of action that prevents residents and families from being harshly penalized for choosing to remain in what many consider socio-economically challenged neighborhood. As your city commissioner, I believe in showing concern for people and for business. Sometimes that means the City can’t rush through with votes if a fair and equitable plan has not been established.
I believe in standing up for people in all neighborhoods, including those trapped or who have chosen to live in lower socio-economic areas by requesting the Commission delay this vote. All neighborhoods need protection from commercial encroachment regardless of where these neighborhoods are located.

Presley and I are using the ol’ elbow grease to fold, staple & put together Re-Elect Nash Campaign Signs!
If you’d like one for your yard please reply to this post, send me a direct message, e-mail or phone call.
For those who have requested signs but have not yet received one, they will be delivered this week.
So proud to have citizens who are willing to show their support at the polls and at the personal or business properties.
Especially like the location of this sign with the Skatepark in the background. A park where adults & children can safely
If you want a Commissioner with a backbone & not a wishbone, Re-Elect Nash!
Re-Elect Slim Nash t-shirts have arrived. The design is new & I hope you like it. They are available in two colors, a white shirt with green print or a green shirt with white print.
I want to put these shirts on the backs of as many people as will wear them. In an effort to offset the costs I am suggesting a $5 donation per shirt. Of course I don’t want to price anybody out of wearing a shirt so if you are unable to afford the $5 or if you are just opposed to paying but want to wear a shirt please let me know!
